Doctor Details

Dr David Eckerman MBBS, FAFRM (RACP) is a Senior Rehabilitation Medicine Physician specialising in neurological rehabilitation, spinal medicine, brain injury rehabilitation, geriatric and orthopaedic rehabilitation.

He has an interest in spasticity/dystonia management, therapeutic use of botulinum toxin, stroke rehabilitation and neurodegenerative diseases, as well as movement disorder rehabilitation (i.e. Parkinson’s disease and spectrum), musculoskeletal medicine and rehabilitation in chronic pain.

Dr Eckerman completed his rehabilitation training in Sydney. When not at work Dr Eckerman loves riding his road bicycle or mountain bike and skiing in Winter.

He also enjoys spending time with his family and indulging in good gastronomy and cooking.

Dr Eckerman is also fluent in Spanish.
