Clinical Governance

Clinical Governance at Buderim Private Hospital fits within a robust governance framework that connects with the whole of UnitingCare Health.

UnitingCare Health has a strong and effective integrated clinical governance framework. We have developed reliable systems and processes within our hospitals and corporate structures regarding risk assessment, reporting, incident management, accountability, monitoring and evaluation.

We involve our people – doctors, nurses, allied health practitioners and staff – in developing a culture focused on safe care, quality outcomes, person-centred care, and excellence in performance.

UnitingCare Health committees encourage and seek clinician involvement and leadership.
Buderim Private Hospital has its own Medical Advisory Committee and Quality and Safety Committee(s) that actively monitor individual quality and safety outcomes and patient experience data. This data informs and drives the Quality programs and initiatives.

Our local systems are supported by the UnitingCare Health and UnitingCare Queensland systems, committees and reporting structures that monitor progress on safety and quality goals and standards.
