Epic Pharmacy has a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians dedicated to providing an exceptional service to hospital patients, visitors and staff. Inpatient Service
Epic Pharmacy offers hospital inpatients a comprehensive clinical pharmacy service including:
- Supply of medication delivered directly to the ward
- Review of current medication to ensure safe and effective use
- Education and advice on new medication or changes to medication during admission
- Provision of a list of medication on discharge and advice on how to manage your medication at home
Patients attending the hospital for day procedures or day rehabilitation programs may also have the medicines dispensed at the hospital pharmacy.
Retail Service
The pharmacy includes retail items for the convenience of patients, visitors and staff and has a range of personal care items, non-prescription medicines and gifts available for purchase.
